The Kal Tire Sudbury Junior Wolves Regained First Place in the
Northern OntarioJunior Hockey League tonight by defeating the
visiting NorthBay Skyhawks by a score of 4 to 2 at the McClelland Arena.
A
stellar performance by midget goalie "Riley Polden"
in his NOJHL debut, stopped 23 of 25 shots for the win. Goal scorers
for Sud. were Brenden Biedermann, Scott Lavigne, Chris Pontes (GW)
and Ryan Mathes to seal the victory with the empty netter.
Goal
scorers for the Bay were Reilly Miller, and Joe Trotter.
The Jr
Wolves will host the Blind River Beavers Wednesday March 7th at
the McClelland Arena in Copper Cliff.
Puck drops at 7:30pm
