The Jr.Wolves came up short at McClelland Arena tonight losing 6 -3
to the Visiting Soo Thunderbirds. The Jr Wolves trailed after 20
minutes 2-1. Tyler Gendron and Brett Perlini scored for the T-birds
and Scott Restoule scored one of his two goals of the night for the
Wolves. Both team scored one goal to finish the second frame 3-2.
Jesse Graham scored for the Jr Wolves while Jake Reid replied for
the T-Birds. In the third period, the Thunderbirds scored three
unanswered goals to win the game 6-3. Goal scorers for the
Thunderbirds were Andy McMillan, Kyle Johnson and Brad Dicandia.
Scott Restoule scored his second of the night in a losing cause.
Darren Rowlandson went the
distance stopping 32 of 38 shots fired his way and Travis O'Brien
for the T-Birds stopped 29 of 32 saves.
The Jr Wolves travel to North Bay Sunday October 1 and face
their Eastern Rivals the "North Bay Skyhawks" at the
Memorial Gardens.
Puck drops at 7:00pm.
