Jim Capy and his Soo Indians scored 4 unanswered goals in the first
period to hand the Jr Wolves their third loss of the season. Despite
the absence of their top scorer Scott Restoule for 4 games due to a
suspension, the Jr Wolves (7-3-0-1) manage to hold on to the top
spot in the league. The Jr Wolves regrouped in the second and third
period and gave the fans some aspiration but it was too little too
late to defeat the Indians.
Scoring for the Jr Wolves were Brenden Biedermann and Mike
Andrighetti.
Scoring for the Indians were Sean Farley, Daren Mansfield, Nick
Zilka, Paul Isleib and Sean Reid.
Darren Rowlandson and Alain Valiquette shared the net minding duties
for the Wolves while Elliot Hogue went the distance in net for the
Indians.
The Jr
Wolves will have the weekend off and resume play at home next
Wednesday Oct 18 as their rival North Bay Skyhawks come to the McClelland
Arena.
