The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League is
pleased to announce that Sudbury Kal Tire Jr Wolves forward
Scott Restoule has been named as Player of the Week for the
week ending Sunday, January 7th.
In three games last week, the league’s leading
scorer chalked up seven goals and four assists as the Jr Wolves
reeled off three straight wins for returning coach Darryl Moxam.
Restoule has now recorded 55 points in 24 games,
holding a 10 point edge over four players all tied for second with
45 points.
Other
players receiving consideration this week included Sudbury forwards
J.F. Houle, Jordan Cheechoo and Brendan Biedermann. This is the
second time this year that Restoule has been recognized for the
weekly award, having also opened the season as the September 17th
recipient.
